WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 31, 2017, Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jimmy Kun Mui with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Mui celebrates many years’ experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. With nearly 40 years of professional experience in architecture and construction design, Mr. Mui has been the owner and principal architect with J.K. Mui Design since 1989, and the senior manager with IVI International, Inc. since 2004. He also served as president of Mui Enterprises from 2001 to 2005, and Mui Enterprises International from 1994 to 2000. From 2001 to 2003, he was a member of CCM & Associates, and from 1998 to 2000 he was a construction manager with Fedayeen Construction Company, LLC. He was the senior manager with the City of New York Project for Public Schools from 1991 to 1998, an assistant architect with the New York City Department of Education from 1987 to 1991, and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 1985 to 1987, as well as an architect and drafter with Bradley Corporate Park in 1984 and 1985. Early in his career, he was an architecture aide for the City of New York Department of Health in 1978.

Born in Hong Kong, Mr. Mui moved to the United States at a young age, obtaining a Regent Scholarship from New York State and a Husted Edward Scholarship from the State University of New York (SUNY), obtaining a BA in Architecture from the SUNY University at Buffalo in 1982. He completed postgraduate coursework with the school from 1982 to 1984, and served as an intern architect with the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority in 1983.

Mr. Mui has been the president of the Moy Shee Family Association of New York since 2001, also serving as an advisor and secretary, and he has been on the Moy’s Clan Association (now Moy’s Family Association) since 2002. Additionally, he was vice-chair, president, and served on the board of directors of the Hong Kong Students Association of New York, Inc. He has been highlighted in numerous editions of Who in America, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America. He is married to Susan Mui and has two children.
