Demonstrating more than four decades of industry know-how, Jimmy Mui is an experienced architect who has had his hands on a variety of important development projects across New York. Since 2004, he has leveraged his skills and expertise as a senior project manager for IVI International Inc. At this venture, he has utilized his abilities in architecture, design and planning, and execution. In addition, he has been a principal architect at J.K. Mui Design since 1989. Throughout the years, Mr. Mui has served as the president of Mui Enterprises Incorporated, as a member of CC & Associates LLC, and as a construction manager at Fedayeen Construction Company LLC. He worked closely with the New York City Department of Education and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development for the City of New York throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mui served as an architect and drafter with Bradley Corporation Park Blauvelt, as an intern architect for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and as an architecture aide for the Department of Health for the City of New York.

With his dream of becoming an architect stemming from an early age, Mr. Mui carried it with him while studying at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 1982, he earned a BPS in architecture and continued for the next two years with postgraduate work at the institution. In recognition of his work, Mr. Mui has received myriad accolades throughout his career. These include the Top Architect of the Year Award from the National Association of Top Professionals in 2018, as well as the Husted Eward Scholarship and the Regent Scholarship Award. He has been featured in the 71st and 72nd editions of Who’s Who in America and received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Furthermore, Mr. Mui has maintained professional affiliation with the Moy Shee Family Association of New York City and has held a number of leadership roles within the organization.
